Description: N-(4,6-divinyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-PEG8-TCO is a novel cysteine binder coupled to a terminal NHS ester bound by a PEG linker. The divinyltriazine rapidly binds two cysteine residues to form macrocyclic peptides under mild conditions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. This reagent can be used to label antibodies, proteins and other primary amine-containing macromolecules with TCO moiety.
