Hodoodo CAT#: H575808
CAS#: 56455-90-4 (HCl)
Description: Dicarboxidine is a chromogen for the detection of barbiturates, meprobamate and some other sedatives on thin-layer chromatograms. Dicarboxidine is a safe substitute for conventional benzidine type reagents. Dicarboxidine can be used for detection of N-Boc-protected amino acids and peptides by TLC. Dicarboxidine is a substrate for peroxidases as horse radish peroxidase.
